Keerthy Is Mahanati

It’s almost official now. Bubbly actress Keerthy Suresh of Nenu Sailaja fame is finalized to play lead role in Mahanati Savitri’s biopic to be directed by Nag Ashwin, who made a critically acclaimed and commercially successful film Yevade Subramanyam.

Although many heroines were considered for the role to reprise the yesteryear starlet Savitri, it’s Keerthy Suresh who has bagged the project. Nag Ashwin has already narrated story to Keerthy who is keen to star in the film.

It is also heard that, star heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be playing a pivotal role in the flick to be produced by Ashwini Dutt. The movie will also contain the roles of top actors like Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, SV Ranga Rao etc. Dutt hopes that the biopic will be a milestone film of his Banner.

Titled Mahanati, the film will go on floors soon.
