Karthik Subbaraj repeats same magic with Suriya like with Rajinikanth

on Oct 7, 2024

Director Karthik Subbaraj, one of the finest writer-directors of Tamil Cinema, has repeated the same magic with Suriya like he did with Rajinikanth. In a day and age when it has become the norm for big films to take at least two years to wrap up, Karthik wrapped up Suriya44 before schedule.

He started shooting the movie in June 2024 and by 6th October, he finished it. He took his time shooting his previous film Jigarthanda Double X and hence, it is surprise to see him finish a Suriya film, this fast. Earlier, he did finish his movie with Rajinikanth, Petta, 50 days before the schedule.

Rajinikanth with pride, announced that they finished shooting of the film in record time during Petta time. Now, Suriya expressed his happiness for being able to pull off such a difficult film in record time. Suriya sharing pics wrote, "A wholesome, happy shoot got done across several locations… Lots of memories with the super talented cast & crew… I made a brother for life @karthiksubbaraj thank you & our team for making Suriya44 a memorable experience."

Suriya called the talented director, a "brother for life" too. Many fans of Suriya and movie-lovers are eagerly anticipating for this film and they are expecting a big blockbuster, too. Currently, Suriya is waiting for the release of his epic period film, Kanguva. Looks like Suriya44 will also gear up for release this year, only.
