As promoted by many, the growing intolerance in the country is leading to giving away some prestigious awards by film personalities like Gulzar. What has legendary Kamal Haasan to say about this?
When asked whether he would also return his awards, Kamal said, "Awards are given by a jury in recognition of work done by creative people. It has nothing to do with a government". Like said by Kamal, returning an award will not solve the differences neither it will promote harmony or anything. Awards are given by someone else, and government is something else. These people returning their awards should think the fact that they are insulting the juries that have honoured them.
