Kaalicharan Movie Review, Kaali Charan Telugu Movie review: A pale and Slow pace story.
Genre: Action/Romance
Cast: Chaitanya Krishna, Chandini
Director: Praveen Sri
Kaalicharan Story: Naagineedu and his family will get transferred to Mahabubnagar. A person from the gang of Pasupathi comes to Nagineedu for a land approval as he is a tahaseeldar. Nagineedu rejects and the gang starts taking revenge on the family in different ways. How Kaalichara, son of pasupathi survives by paying back the revenges is rest of the story.
Analysis: A story of 1980's basing on true incidents has been narrated in a good way. But somewhere the essence of grudge and revenge went missing. The film went in a very slow pace with pale narration. Sri Praveen (director) took good amount of time to establish the plot and failed to drive audience into the story. He has devoted bigger chunk of time for songs rather concentrating on his conflict.
Teluguone Perspective: Factually, this movie tested the patience of audience. Chaitanya Krishna did his performance with good ease. Few emotions made audience roll out tears too. Songs, music and BGM were awesomely scored by Nandan. Chandini, though it is her debut film in Telugu, acted very well. Fights look natural and camera work is appreciable. The only thing that ruined the minds of audience is Story lagging.
Performances: Chaitanya Krishna performed very well and for sure he will be critically acclaimed for his role. Chandini is good in her role. Naagineedu and Rao Ramesh did justice to their respective characters.
Technicalities: The Cinematography is okay . The BGM and songs were well scored by Nandan. Apart from its rough cuts, editing is fine.
positives: Plot
Music
Performances
Negatives: Story Lagging
Slow Narration
Final word: A single time watcher. Not suggestible for entertainment seekers.
Kaalicharan Movie Rating: 2.75/5
