Censor Chief Hits Back At James Bond Criticis
on Nov 22, 2015
"In the last two Bond films, they did not allow any intimate scenes. And we allowed them to show the kiss in Spectre. I accept that there should be a change in guidelines according to today's youth", says Pahlaj Nihlani, Chairman of the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification).
In the recent times, Censor Board got heavily criticised for the way films are being censored. Actually they have shortened out a kiss scene of its actual duration, leading to social network growing outrageous about it. Responding about this, Pankaj Nihlani said that way. He also suggested new ratings systems like 12, 12+, 15, 15+, A, A+ and A++ in the future. He says parents come to know exactly what kind of films their child is watching with those ratings.
Anyway, Censor Chief is still not making cinema lovers happy with his explanations as people feel that he's now doing moral policing but not Censoring.
