Rajamouli Clarifies On Amaravati Rumors

Speculations are rife that, ace director SS Rajamouli has been appointed as consultant, designer and supervisor for assembly and other crucial constructions in Andhra Pradesh state capital city Amaravathi. The director condemned the reports and affirmed that he was just interpreting the vision of CM Chandrababu Naidu to Foster + Partners, for whom the contract was given, to quicken the process.

“Various news that I was appointed as a consultant, designer, supervisor etc for Amaravathi are not true.. Foster + Partners are a world renowned architectural firm. The designs they submitted were first class in my opinion. @NCBN garu and his team are very happy with it but he wanted a design for the assembly to be much more iconic. All I am doing is interpreting the vision of @NCBN garu to Foster + Partners to quicken the process. Hope this small contribution of mine is some kind of help in that epic project,” said Rajamouli.

Interim, Rajamouli heaped praises on young tiger Jr NTR for his stupendous performance in Jai Lava Kusa. “Tarak.. my heart is swelling with immense pride..words are just not enough..jai JAI.. #JaiLavaKusa.”
