Jai Lava Kusa Breaks Non-Baahubali Record

We must feel proud that demand for Telugu films in North has been escalating. While few of hit films are remade in Hindi, few are dubbed there. And, Telugu films are getting huge price in terms of dubbing satellite rights.

Young Tiger Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa Hindi dubbing rights were snapped by Zee Cinemas for Rs 11 crores. As we reported Telugu satellite rights of the movie were sold for Rs 13 crores. Many North leading television channels have been paying hefty amounts for the dubbing satellite rights, since demand is huge for Telugu films.

As per trade reports, Jai Lava Kusa has made NTR’s career best worldwide theatrical business of Rs 86 crores. This is third highest after Baahubali 2 and Baahubali, which means the film has set non-Baahubali record. With inclusion of satellite, dubbing, audio, digital and other rights, the business will be huge.

Let’s hope, NTR who has continuous to his credit from past couple of years will continue the success spree with Jai Lava Kusa which is due for release on September 21st.
