Is Tamil actor playing Key Role in NBK 108?

Actors from neighbouring states have sky-high demands and remuneration. It was reported that Nayanthara had quoted more than 8 crores for the Balayya-Anil Ravipudi collaboration film, but the makers were unable to pay that amount, so she backed out. According to reports, the same thing happened to another actor who wanted to be cast in the same film.

Anil Ravipudi considered casting Tamil hero Arvind Swamy. There have also been consultations. However, it appears that there is no longer any interest. It is unclear how much they quoted and how much they believed would be a better offer, but the unit decided to include the remuneration in their budget and look for another option.

Another rumour going around is that the actor was approached via email and was irritated by it, declining to meet with the director. For the time being, these are only speculative.

Until recently, Tamil and Malayalam actors were paid a crore or two crores for our films. However, if we look at the Tamil and Malayalam fields for each film, it appears that these have risen to the level of five crores. Non Pan-India films with medium budgets are unaffordable.

The film Balayya is not a pan-India production. As a result, it appears that director Anil Ravipudi has decided to pursue another option.
