How did Manam start ? When this question was asked to Nagarjuna in an interview, he said that initially it was the idea of Nithin's father Sudhakar Reddy. Sudhakar Reddy called up Nagarjuna one day and asked him to listen to a story and mentioned that it would suit their family really well. Following this, Nagarjuna went by Sudhakar's words and heard the script from Vikram Kumar and instantly liked it. That is how, this emotional movie Manam starring Late Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya materialized. Manam is all set to hit screens on the 23rd of May.
