It is known that Vikram is coming to Telugu screens after a long gap with Shankar's Ai. Given Shankar's track as an ace director, the film makers are reportedly demanding Rs.30 crore for dubbing rights in Telugu. At the same time, distributors are reportedly refusing to entertain this because these days Tamil dubbed films are not doing that much business, compared to past and also they feel Vikram doesn't command such high market anymore.
