The Musical  Maestro and Symphony King Ilayaraja turns a year old today. It is just the age that is getting older but this man is still young in the hearts of people. In fact, his music is the only source of relaxation for many music maniacs. Ilayaraja comes from a very poor background. He started of his career in the early 70's and worked in various places. His debut as a music director happened through the film, Annakkili in Tamil. This film introduced a fusion of western music with Tamil idioms to the audience. It was fresh and rejuvenating. From then on, Ilayaraja became the eye candy for most directors. Ilayaraja never failed to prove himself in every single project he worked on.

Ilayaraja is the man who can bring out music from the scenario and feel of a particular sequence. He is unique and has a signature style of his own. Although, Ilayaraja introduced western music to all of us, he always made sure to maintain an Indian touch in his songs. His son Yuvan Shankar Raja is cruising through like a lightning now and is hitting the peaks of fame, ideally continuing the legacy of his father. Ilayaraja's films like Ahilasha, Geethanjali, Seetha Koka Chilaka, Guna and so on are still the top songs on the playlist of many people. Ilayaraja has scored music in various languages but his composition proves that music has no language. Professionally trained from the Trinity College of London, Ilayaraja is one of the legendary musicians across the country.

Ilayaraja is a man who goes by the trend. He gets updated as time passes by. In a career spanning over 30 years, Ilayaraja has composed a huge variety of movies. His latest films like Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, Ulavacharu Biriyani and so on had given us a modern touch with a native feel. What more can we talk about this man ??? English dictionary doesn't have the  words that could describe the work of this Legend. All we could say is, LONG LIVE MAESTRO !!! Wishing a Very Happy Birthday To Ilayaraja Garu on behalf of Telugu One.
