Falaknuma Das is a movie with complete Telangana Slang & has attracted the audience via its unique style of promotion. But how is the movie? Has the director who is also the hero of the movie given his best? Let us read the review.

Das(Vishwak Sen) is a boy from Falaknuma. He loses his father at a very young age. He sees a rowdy in his area & aspires to become one when he grows up. Finally he becomes one! In a bomb blast made by him he loses someone. Who is that? Why did he plan a bomb blast? Does Das come out without getting caught? Answers to all these questions form the movie story.

Plus Points:

Hyderabad Background

Vivek Sagar Music

Minus Points :

Story & Direction

Second half

One of the reasons why the movie Falaknuma Das will attract the audience is because of its Hyderabadi Theme. The movie has been shot in various places of Hyderabad like Charminar, Falaknuma, Tolichowki, Jiyaguda, Osmania University Arts College etc & every location looks good on screen. Vishwak Sen has succeeded in showing Hyderabad beautifully along with the Cinematographer. But as a director Vishwak Sen has failed since he has concentrated completely on the telangana slang & ignored the emotions in the scenes. Background Music is too good.

TeluguOne Perspective:

Vishwak Sen has not paid much attention towards the story & acting, mainly the emotional scenes. Though the first half can be considered okay, second half sounds extremely silly.

Rating: 2.50
