Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya Review

Tollywood has stuck with routine story line up , commercial and formula films, debutante Trikoti, former associate of director Rajamouli, turned out-of-the-box story in form of Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya. Ajay as father and Naga Shaurya as son- is something bolt out of the blue and raised many Surprises in industry. All the viewers had much hype on Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya , Lets see what are the highlights .
STORY:
Gopala Krishna (Ajay), a bank employee, has been married to Indraja and have two sons Madhu (Naga Shaurya) and Vicky (a kid). Krish is unhappy that he couldn't have a love marriage and often tries every girl that comes into his life. Then he meets Samitha (Sana Khan) who runs an aerobic centre and befriends her, eventually both become good friends. Meanwhile, Madhu (Naga Shaurya), who is pursuing engineering, also falls to Samitha. How do both father and son try the same girl is the story. How do they build up their love story? What are twist turned? How the son saves his girlfriend from his dad and takes care of his mother is the Rest of the Story.
ANALYSIS:
Trikoti for dealing the sensitive subject in a thorough manner. The film's cast comes in handy. Ajay and Shaurya made the film engaging with their picth-perfect performances. Yesteryear actress Indraja made a good comeback with this decent, honest and novel film. Above all, producer Sai Korrapati deserves a pat on his back for having guts to give go ahead for such novel script and under the direction of newcomer. The movie has full on drama, love, romance and emotions.
PERFORMANCES:
Ajay tried his level best with boosting up his acting as 40 years Youth Full Uncle , He really proved with his Gunshot Performance.
Trikoti who worked as a Assistant Director of Rajamouli is making his debut as Director through this movie. Directed through Trikoti, the enchanting artist possesses an interesting story line and the makers are actually positive that the film will surely attract the viewers.
Actor Naga Shourya earned good fame in Tollywood with the movie “Oohalu Gusa Gusa Laade” that got him wide recognition.
MM Keeraani no need of proving himself , He just rocked with his creativity album and Bgms were cool and decent he turned every audien with his tune “Dintana DindinTana”.
Producer Sai Korrapati, has become a force to reckon with in the industry. Not only producing big budget flicks like Eega and Legend, he has made some meaningful films like Andala Rakshasi in 2012 and Oohalu Gusagusalade in 2014, which were both made on a low budget, attained good success at the box-office.
Brahmaji never ever he can do such type of character , he had done in Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya . He never made audien to be calm just he made to charm on every face.

VERDICT:
First part is Comedy entertainer and whereas the latter half gets into serious emotions and sentiments. Had director avoided a bit of drama and lag in the second half, the movie would have been good film. Yet, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya makes for good watch.
PUNCH LINE:
Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya is Breath of fresh air.
