Dhanush SIR sensation with massive collections

SIR/ Vaathi, the Tamil-Telugu bilingual, written and directed by Venky Atluri, released on February 17th and continuing the dominance at the box office. The Dhanush, Samyuktha starrer, is produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and presented by Srikara Studios.

 

The film benefited immensely from the terrific response to the paid premieres held across Telugu states and Tamil Nadu on February 16th. The overwhelming response resulted in housefull bookings all over. 

 

The film collected 11 crores gross collections in just 2 days. The film even crossed Dhanush' super hit Raghuvaran B Tech lifetime collections on day 1 itself. The collections on Day 3 also looks promising and the film collected nearly 40+ crores worldwide till now.

 

It’s a dream debut for Kollywood star Dhanush in Telugu. Director Venky Atluri back to form with this emotional entertainer. Tamil version Vaathi is also running with packed crowds.

 

The film is likely to end up as one of the best films in Dhanush career. The Monday bookings and rest of week bookings looks promising in every area.

 

Besides Venky Atluri’s execution and Dhanush’s performance, crowds have equally appreciated the portrayals of Samyuktha, Samuthirakani and Sai Kumar and GV Prakash’s memorable album. Hyper Aadhi, Narra Srinu, Tanikella Bharani, Motta Rajendran too played important roles in the film.
