Nagarjuna Damarukam Title Controversy

King Nagarjuna’s ‘Damarukam’ is facing a legal row under the charges of Infringment of Copyright act. Sources say that producer Naveen Kalyan claims that he is the title holder of Damarukam and alleges that RR Movie Makers have registered his title against the copyright act. Apparently, he lodged a complaint on RR Movie Makers in film chamber and stated that he has registered ‘Damarukam’ title in 2008. He also adds that he has so far spent 60lakhs on his ‘Damarukam’ movie and wrapped up 60% of the shooting by 2011. Naveen Kalyan argued that Suresh Reddy assured him of an out of court settlement, but still nothing has been happened like that. Earlier, films like ‘Kathi’, ‘Khaleja’ and ‘Teenmaar’ too landed in legal troubles but some how they have come out of it and amicably settled the issue out of court.
