Dasari Narayana Rao is one of the legendary Writer, Director, Producer and Actor in the Telugu Film Industry. His contribution to the industry is huge and this man is like a spine for a lot of film aspirants. Citing his fame and respect in TFI, the Telugu Directors' Association has decided to appeal to the National Film Award Committee to consider Dasari for Dada Saheb Phalke Award, which is one of the most prestigious awards of India. A letter is being drafted in this regard and a brief discussion will happen during the association's general body meeting on the 13th of April. Dasari has directed over 150 films and has produced 53 movies. He started off working as a writer and there are 250 films to his credit as a dialogue writer
