Tax Raids on Geetha Arts and RR Movies

Cinematography service tax officials raided top movie production houses like Geetha Arts (Allu Aravind) and RR Movie Makers (Venkat), Sri Venkateswara Creations (Dil Raju) and Sri Sai Ganesh Productions (Bellamkonda Suresh) for not paying service tax. The Andhra Pradesh State Govt service tax officials raided on top production houses since they have not paid the required cinematography service tax and this has been over due since long time as said by the officials. These raids have been conduced in Hyderabad offices since the productions houses have not paid the service tax since 2010 July. The officials are also likely to raid on other production houses.
