Cine workers revised payment wages

Few days back Shootings and post production activities in Tollywood were halted due to the strike imposed by various cine worker unions. Special meetings have been held, and an amicable solution achieved between producers council and workers union.

Now the revised pay wages of the workers was announced and most wages across the categories were increased from 25% to 45%. This increase and wages will be applicable only for big budget films. Small Films can pitch in workers at mutually agreeable terms.However Film Chamber will decide if a film is a small budget movie or big Budget movie.

Over 13000 employees of 24 Crafts in Telugu Film Industry are going to get benefited by this pay scale revision. However this will increase production cost of the big budget films.Above is the new set of rules, regulations and payment details.
