Can Boyapati really repeat a Senior RRR?

on Oct 19, 2024

SS Rajamouli delivered an unanticipated surprise announcing RRR, a multi-starrer with Ram Charan and NTR. Many TFI fans and audiences wanted to watch Mega - Nandamuri multi-starrer from quite a while but it has been dismissed as impossible. When SS Rajamouli brought these two young heroes together, the anticipation for seniors to come together on screen has increased.

Recently, Boyapati Srinu, the current most favorite director of Nandamuri Balakrishna, expressed his desire and readiness to direct both Megastar Chiranjeevi and NBK in one film. He commented that he can bring this dream combination to life and deliver a never before experience to audiences on a large canvas.

While his comments and confidence is appreciable, Megastar and NBK have been clashing at box office even to date. Their Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy released for same Sankranti season with one day gap, even though produced by same production house.

Such is the professional rivalry they carry. While they are friendly off-screen, it is hard to imagine them being side-by-side without trying to one up each other in a scene. Ram Charan and NTR listened to highly successful director like SSR, who gave both their careers boost with Simhadri and Magadheera, respectively.

Being so seniors and veteran stars, we cannot anticipate similar kind of surrender to a director from Megastar and NBK. But if this multi-starrer does happen, we would be in delight as mass commercial cinema lovers for sure.
