Bruce Lee Cuts Off To 40 Crores
on Oct 27, 2015
Using the holiday season, ticket hike advantage and brand value, finally Ram Charan's "Bruce Lee" has made nearly 40 crores "share" from 10 days at worldwide box office. But that won't help distributors anyway to recover their investments.
Almost 56 crores was spent by distributors here in India and abroad to fetch the theatrical rights of "Bruce Lee" movie, but the bad talk garnered by the film on Day 1 has disappointed them big time. Sreenu Vaitla's routine story and Kona Venkat's run-of-the-mill comedy haven't worked in favour of the film. Finally that led to flop talk and haven't filled theatres with crowds. Still, Charan's stardom helped to amass 40 crores "share", though it still leaves fate of 16 crores hanging in the air.
Probably this will be Charan's biggest loss maker after Thoofan.
