When a big ticket entertainer is hitting screens, ace director-producer Karan Johar feels that many critics pry around such that if they will get a chance to nail the movie.
“If the film has some sensibilities missing or something lacking in terms of entertainment, then these critics start lashing out immediately”, he adds. Later Karan Johar asked Rajamouli, if Tollywood is also facing similar experiences.
“There are always people around big ticket films to criticise if the output is not really interesting. All my films faced criticism except Maryada Ramanna which garnered positive reviews”, Rajamouli said. “Whenever a big film is releasing, surely this negativity envelops it”.
Is Baahubali also facing such negativity around it? “Fortunately for Baahubali, there is no such negative talk around. Everyone is spreading quite positive talk for the movie. That’s what gave me humongous energy”, said Rajamouli.
