For every scene, story and character- not everyone looks at with the same perspective. Rajamouli would have thought Prabhas is romancing Tamanna, but a woman journalist breathed fire on the whole sequence after dubbing the film’s female lead’s situation as “The Rape of Avantika”. Shocking, isn’t it?

A journalist named Anna MM Vetticad has come up with a story where she described the acts of Prabhas ripping apart the clothes of Tamanna in a sequence before ‘Pachhabottesina’ song where her milky glamour is unveiled step-by-step and then she is smeared with red color on lips and a tilak on forehead. Afterwards, Tamanna alias Avantika realises her inner beauty and then falls flat for Prabhas alias Sivudu. This journalist opined that after forcing a girl to strip clothes, as Avantika fights Sivudu with a sword when he is trying to strip her off, how could anyone call that romance? She dubbed the happening as a ‘rape’ romanticised.

This analysis has led to a bigger debut on social circles, with many women taking side of Anna, while other crushed this as a silly comment.
