on Jul 11, 2015
Baahubali is flexing its muscle power everywhere. The figures amassed by the Telugu version of the movie on day one are mind boggling. Especially if we have a look at the numbers made by Baahubali in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state, it’s a record. Sorry, it’s an industry record, which would be tough to break in the recent future.
From crucial Andhra districts, Baahubali pocketed decent collections, there by breaking day one records of other films. From Vizag the collection is 1.75 crore, 1.98 from East, 2.15 from West, 1.25 from Krishna and on a whole 10.6 crore share (13.6 crore gross) from Andhra Pradesh alone. In Nizam the movie minted 6.3 crores and in ceded it made 4.9 crores accounting to a total of 21.8 crores share from AP & Telangana. That will be nearly 28 crores gross.
With this, the industry high record on Attarintiki Daredi’s name is washed away. Pawan Kalyan’s film collected 10.75 crores share on First Day from Telugu box office.
