Baahubali Rare Feat In Chennai

Telugu films didn't have much market value in Tamil Nadu before the release of SS Rajamouli directed Eega released in the neighboring state 'Naan Ee' which did wonders at box office. Then, Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning helped in extending Telugu trade in Tamil. The Conclusion part that released this year has smashed many records in Tamil also.
Baahubali 2 has achieved another rare feat. The film is at number one position even in its 6th week in a row in Chennai box office. No other film has done it before. Total Chennai city gross for now is Rs 17.55 Cr. The number is massive indeed.
Many multiplexes in Chennai are still screening Prabhas and Rana starrer Baahubali 2 with good number of shows every day. As per trade reports, the film is minting more to recent Tamil outings.
