With the grand release of Rebel Star Prabhas' Kalki 2898AD, theaters in the Telugu states and across the country are buzzing once again. Theatres have been bustling since yesterday. There is a festive atmosphere at all theaters, whether A, B, or C centers or multiplexes. Kalki 2898AD received blockbuster talk from early morning shows, and theaters, which were empty of spectators since the beginning of the summer, are now bustling with house full signs.

Featuring an ensemble star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in key roles, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. A multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in the future.

Kalki 2898AD is not only going to collect huge collections in its long run, but there are chances of breaking many records. After the mammoth success, producer Ashwini Dutt Chalasani interacted with media about the film's success and Kalki 2898AD second part.

Producer revealed a key update about Kalki 2898AD part 2 shoot and release date. He said, "Kalki 2898AD part 2 shoot has been completed almost 60%. Only major portions are left to shot. We are not decided on release date."

It appears that Nag Ashwin shot extensively for Kalki 2898AD part 2, while completing the first part. Now, team has to get the dates of superstars which will take long time. Looks like Kalki 2898AD part 2 will hit theatres next summer. Producer said that, the real story starts in Part 2 and it will be amazing."
