This is the time for historical movies in Tollywood. Another project named Bhagmathi is going to materialise after Anushka Shetty's Rudramadevi and Varun Tej's Kanche. One more time Sweety is going to mesmerise in leading role. She had done Gunasekhar's Rudramadevi recently and now Bhagmathi, it's in the stage of thoughts.
Initially Anushka rejected this Bhagmathi project at first. But Rebel Star Prabhas came in to scene and convinced Anushka to accept Bhagmati role. It is a story of Mohammed Kuli Khutub Shah who built Hyderabad five centuries ago. Bhagmathi is his lover who belongs to Banjara Tribes. On her name, Bhagyanagar came to fame. She changed name as Hyder Mahal after marrying the Khutub Shah. Nawab had built the city of Hyderabad and named it as Hyderabad.
Prabhas and also Anushka's close friends Pramod, Vamsi are producing this movie under UV Creations banner. Directorial segment will handled by Ashok Kumar. This would be Anushka's second historical film. And she is creating history with this type of roles.
