Anupama Parameswaran is riding high on the massive success of Tillu Square. The Siddu Jonnalagadda-starrer collected over Rs 130 crore gross and emerged as one of the most profitable Telugu movies of all time on a return on investment basis.

Interestingly, following Tillu Square’s success, Anupama has signed a few female-oriented scripts. Anupama is currently working on Hanu-Man director Prasanth Varma’s Octopus, Cinema Bandi director Praveen Kandregula’s Paradha, and Tamil director AR Jeeva’s recently launched movie under Lyca Productions banner.

Interestingly, the three above-mentioned movies are touted as content-oriented dramas with powerful female characters as the protagonists. And Anupama is playing the lead role in all these movies. This drastic shift in her script and character selection could be a turning point in Anupama’s career.

She also has Lock Down film. Apart from the above-mentioned projects, Anupama also has a film each in Tamil and Malayalam.
