Anjali Devi no more!

The year 2014 seems to have started on a bad note with the death of Uday Kiran and now Veteran South Indian actress Anjali Devi, who passed away at the age of 85 in Chennai. Born in 1927 in Peddapuram town of East Godavari district, she is known for impressive performances in the films such as Keelugurram, Suvarna Sundari, Lavakusha. If NTR is regarded as Krishna, then she is referred to as goddess Seeta. Anjali Devi has acted in close to 500 films in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
