"Just donations will be useless, unless you figure out a way to ensure that the money you are donating is actually used to buy these essentials", says hero Allu Sirish, who stressed that they are actually converting money into commodities and sending them to Chennai.
As part of sending relief to Chennai, Telugu celebs are assembling in the name of "Mana Madras Kosam" and sending aid to the flood hit Tamilnadu capital. Sirish, Allari Naresh, Akhil and Lakshmi Manchu are busy collecting funds and other donations by visiting couple of malls in Hyderabad today. Sharing this thoughts, Sirish said, "Plastic money is of no use during emergencies like these. What they need right now are essential commodities including blankets, milk, water and food, rubber gloves, boots"
