RR Movie Makers Bag Badrinath Guntur

RR Movie Makers have reportedly bagged the Guntur Distribution rights of Badrinath Telugu movie staring Allu Arjun and Tamanna. According to reports, Badrinath Gutur rights were been acquired by RR Movie Makers for a monster price of 2.55 crores. This is a record since no Allu Arjun's previous movie has bagged for such an incredible price. However, RR Movie Makers do not have a distribution set up in Guntur and as such they are foraying into this district by associating with Hari Pictures and Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Previously, the highest price in Gutnur for a movie acquisition rights was Jr NTR's Shakti at a price of 3.53 crores. Badrinath came close to that price but after final negotiations RR Movie Makers have bagged it for 2.55 crores it seems. Badrinath is also doing great business in other districts of Andhra Pradesh and overseas too and critics say that its the combination of Allu Arjun, VV Vinayak and Allu Aravind that's making the movie go for a higher price. Allu Arjun's Badrinath release is scheduled on June 10 and the movie's censor screening has been re-scheduled for June 6. So we;ll have to wait and see as to how this movie fares out at the Tollywood box office.
