Alia Bhatt walks out of Golmaal 4

Rumours have been doing the rounds that actress Alia Bhatt will be starring in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 4. But according to reports coming in, Alia has opted out of the film. And the reason is the recent Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn fall out. With Kareena Kapoor Khan going on maternity leave, RohitShetty’s Golmaal 4 has found itself without a lead actress. Shetty would automatically have then approached his second favourite leading lady Deepika Padukone in that case. However, she too is busy with Padmavati till next year.

So, the decision was made to work with someone new and hence Alia Bhatt was chosen for the role. Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar’s very public tiff over the clash of dates of their respective films, Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was news. After this, its being reported that Alia suddenly became unavailable on the dates wanted by the G4 makers. According to a source, “It was put across to them that Alia was busy with Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and was to sign another big film by the end of the year and then start shooting for Abhishek Varman’s Shiddat with Varun Dhawan from March next year, so she didn’t have any dates for the Devgn starrer".
