Pradeep Machiraju has made a name for himself as an anchor on Television. His popularity over the years has been growing and made him a family member among many telugu households. He became an actor featuring in small roles in big films and became a lead actor with 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela? and he took time to star in his second one, Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. The movie stars other popular TV stars like Deepika Pilli, Getup Srinu along with Vennela Kishore and Satya. The movie has Pawan Kalyan's debut film title and released today. Let's discuss about the movie in detail.

Plot:

Krishna (Pradeep Machiraju) is a Civil Engineer and he needs to prove his worth to his father. His mother (Rohini) doesn't like his selfish attitude and tries to tell him that helping someone and caring for someone are human qualities everyone should have. He travels to a village for constructing toilets. But the males in the village warn Krishna and his driver Bilal (Satya) to not look at Raja (Deepika Pilli), who is said to be the lucky charm of the village. A total of 60 males wait for her to attain marriage and marry anyone of them. The person who marries her can become the president of the village too.

Krishna should not look or talk to Raja. They fear he could become their competition. Krishna gets frustrated with these rules but on the other hand, Raja gets attracted to him. Krishna kisses accidentally Raja and she starts blackmailing him. He starts to meet her and talk to her on a regular basis. Slowly, he starts falling in love with her but he knows that entire village will fight against him. Finally, both of them get caught to entire village and what happens next? Watch the film to know more.

Analysis:

Pradeep Machiraju tried his best to fit into the romance but his expressions did not really suit the character. He looked a little awkward in emotional scenes. He did put big efforts in dancing and his efforts need to be appreciated. Deepika Pilli looked beautiful and good in romantic scenes. Even her dance moves are good but she could improve in emotional scenes.

Getup Srinu and Satya with their comic timing entertain us in the first hour. Mainly, body language comedy by Getup Srinu and dialogue timing comedy by Satya are great. Vennela Kishore doesn't really connect with his scenes. The climax with Rohini could have written better and round off even well. While the film is entertaining enough in the first hour, it is dragged in the second hour as the writing looked all over the place.

The direction by Nitin and Bharat is good and very functional. It could have been much better in important scenes. The proposal scene has good creative touch from them but in comic scenes and emotional scenes it could have been better. Writing feels very shallow with writers trying to throw one skit after another. The comedy scenes are funny in the first half but the novelty wears off in the second hour. It needed a much better writing to round off the entire proceedings.

Music by Radhan is good and even choreography by Sekhar master is also good. But the movie needed much better technical support in cinematography and editing departments. On the whole, the film has a good point which could have been written better and executed well enough. It is silightly entertaining in the first hour and for that, we can call it slightly entertaining.

In Conclusion:

The movie entertains marginally but not completely.

Rating: 2.5/5
