Akhil Distanced Amavasya Sentiment

on Nov 8, 2015

Diwali falls on Amavasya day, and that's not considered as a good omen by Telugu people though it's a good day for many other states. For that reason, Akhil Akkineni's debut flick had a special paid screening already, thereby sentiments overtaking the superstitions.

On November 6th, according to some unconfirmed reports, Nagarjuna has screened the film for 20 mins at Annapurna Studios at 10.45 am in the morning. Also he has collected ticket price from the visitors, mostly his family members, who has paid the money. Naga Susheela bought ticket for 1000 rupees to watch the show. That makes Akhil released already, and now there is no Amavasya sentiment.
