Akhil Pre-Release Business Touches ₹ 62 Cr

In a never before receiving for an youngster who is debuting on silver screen, "Akhil" helped Akhil Akkineni register some shocking figures in terms of pre-release business.

"Akhil" has done a tremendous business with ₹ 17.69 crores shelled out by various distributors to own the movies. In Ceeded they have invested nearly ₹ 6.70 crores, while Nizam is own release of Nitin's father which is estimated to be ₹ 13 crores. Both Overseas and Karnataka are sold for ₹ 4 crores, while Rest of India fetched ₹ 1 Cr and Tamil-Malayalam dubbed versions fetched 2 crores from the distributors. That makes Akhil touch nearly ₹ 48.3 Crores from theatrical rights alone. That means the film has to fetch nearly ₹ 50 crores from box office to be termed as a hit.

With Satellite, digital rights and audio rights included, pre-release business of "Akhil" has touched ₹ 62 crores, there by making Akhil Akkineni's debut quite costlier than any other hero. Directed by VV Vinayak, the film releases tomorrow.
