The pooja ceremony of Ajith Kumar's upcoming film Daredevil was held in Chennai on Monday. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film marks the actor's second collaboration with the filmmaker after Good Bad Ugly. Producer Shalini Ajith Kumar attended the ceremony along with several members of the cast and technical team.

Sreeleela, Unni Mukundan, Parthiban, Prabhu, Sunil and music composer Anirudh Ravichander were among the prominent attendees. The film marks Shalini's debut as a producer under her Brave Hearts Productions banner. Interestingly, Ajith Kumar was not present at the pooja ceremony.

Anirudh is composing the music, while cinematographer Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor Vijay Velukutty and stunt choreographer Supreme Sundar are part of the technical team. The film brings Ajith and Anirudh together again after Vidaamuyarchi.

The makers had initially planned to shoot the film in Chennai but shifted the Indian shooting schedule to Hyderabad due to weather conditions. The regular shoot is scheduled to begin on November 12. The team is also planning schedules in Thailand and Malaysia.
