Adi Purush Costlier than Prabhas’s Bahubali franchise

Prabhas's film Adi Purush is eagerly anticipated not just by Prabhas fans, but also by the industry. Om Raut, who directed Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior with Ajay Devgn, directed the film, which was inspired by the Ramayana.

The film's star cast is constantly debated, and now its budget has been disclosed, knowing that the ground will slip beneath your feet. According to industry insiders, Prabhas' film will cost 500 crores to make.

Producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed the same saying, “Adi Purush is made on a budget of Rs 500 crore. For that film, we know that the opening will be giant with houseful board across. So, we will try to optimise the demand for the film by going ahead with blockbuster pricing. We know people will come to see it irrespective of pricing as it is a one-off it’s kind event cinema and there is only limited capacity. So, we would make sure, to go all out with this film.”

Adi Purush has become one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema as a result of this budget. Some experts believe that the budget of the film has also left behind SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2. Both films in the Baahubali series had a budget of around 450 crores.

Adi Purush is a film in the mythology genre. Prabhas will be featured as Lord Ram in the Ramayana-inspired film. Ravana is played by Saif Ali Khan, and Sita is played by Kriti Sanon. Sunny Singh is the actor that plays Laxman. Adi Purush will also be released in 3D on January 12 of next year. Heavy VFX is being used to recreate the world of Adi Purush at that time period.
