Action Icon Sham Kaushal Directing Ram Charan in Peddi

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's upcoming magnum opus, Peddi, has created a global sensation with Chikiri song as it became a huge chartbuster crossing 110 Million views on YouTube. Now, the makers have hired legendary action director Sham Kaushal to direct a huge action sequence.

The movie team is filming a vital, high-intensity fight sequence at a massive set erected in Hyderabad’s Aluminium Factory. Going for a Pan-India appeal, the team have taken such a huge step to add more excitement to this very crucial sequence.

Sham Kaushal, father of actor Vicky Kaushal and known for his iconic action choreography, is personally supervising this elaborate set-piece. It features Ram Charan in a major face-off with huge number of goons. Further Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar is also taking part in the sequence elevating its appeal.

Director Buchi Babu Sana is dedicating meticulous attention to the sequence, which is designed to be a major highlight and deliver "goosebumps" to the audience.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor and features music by AR Rahman. Peddi is scheduled for a massive pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
