Aamir battles against odds for his daughters

Dangal, is based on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat's life which is an inspirational story of a Haryana wrestler who trains his daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, in the field to win an Olympic gold for India. Mahavir Phogat's character is essayed by Aamir Khan while Sakshi Tanwar plays his wife. The trailer of ‘Dangal’ was just released by UTV Motion Pictures and the film certainly promises to be as engaging and emotionally tense as any other film by the perfectionist actor. It’s evident that Aamir has undergone some gruelling physical training in order to perfect the look of the wrestler he plays in the film. The tagline of the film says, 'Mhari Chhoria Chhoro se kum hai ke?' which means - 'Are my daughters any lesser than the boys?'.The film has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari and will be releasing in theaters on 23 December, 2016.
