2024 Roundup: Big stars deliver for Telugu Cinema

Telugu Cinema big stars - Allu Arjun, Jr. NTR, Prabhas and Mahesh Babu released their films in this year 2024. Except for Mahesh Babu, all others have gone for huge Pan-India releases. This year Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan did not release any films.
Senior stars Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh have set their eyes on 2025 release. Chiranjeevi wanted to release his film for Sankranti but postponed his huge budget film, Vishwambhara for Summer 2025. NBK will release his Daaku Maharaaj for Sankranti 2025.
Nagarjuna released his Naa Saami Ranga for Sankranti and achieved breakeven success. Victory Venkatesh's Saindhav released for Sankranti and bombed. He is looking to get a hat-trick success with director Anil Ravipudi for 2025 Sankranti season. Nagarjuna is playing a prominent role in Rajinikanth's Coolie and has a multi-starrer Kubera with Dhanush. Both the films are scheduled for 2025 release.
In 2024, Allu Arjun emerged as big Pan-India star as his Pushpa 2 The Rule has collected over Rs.1450 crores gross worldwide and his film is also breaking records in Hindi circuit. The movie is given him huge momentum to cement his place as a Top Indian star.
Prabhas did not disappoint with his Kalki 2898 AD as it crossed Rs.1100 crores gross worldwide. He is looking to repeat the feat with The Raja Saab in 2025. NTR after two years wait released Devara Part-1 and the movie collected huge Rs.450 crores gross.
Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram did not get critical acclaim but did collect Rs.180 crores gross worldwide. The producers and distributors did not loss huge money as anticipated and movie became a safe bet.
On the whole, we can say that 2024 ended up being a good year for big stars as none of them really disappointed while TFI got two huge Rs.1000 crores grossers to add to the elite list of Pan-India successes.
