After a long time, a veteran production house like Manisha Arts have produced the film LYF starring SPB Charan and Sri Harsha. SPB Charan along with being a singer, produced several films and acted in a few too. Now, he performed in LYF - Love Your Father, as a fatherly figure to young actor Sri Harsha. Pavan Ketharaju is debuting as a director with LYF. Let's discuss about the film in detail.

Plot:

Siddhu (Sri Harsha) gets attacked in Kashi and a group of Aghoras save him. A few months ago, his father Kishore (SPB Charan) being a do-gooder and a positive person. He respects every human and completes last rites of orphans. He also celebrates birthday events and give donations to orphanages. He runs a supermarket for his daily living and Siddhu is looking to complete his B.Tech.

Siddhu is secretly in love with Sweety (Kashika Kapoor). At this time, a chain of casinos owner and highly egoistic Kabir (Nawab Shah) looses to Kishore at a racing event. He cannot accept it and he uses his power to tarnish Kishore's image. What happened next? How will Siddhu be able to regain his father's dignity? Watch the movie to know more.

Analysis:

It is happy to see that Manisha Arts Kishore Rathi and Mahesh Rathi back into movie production. They have provided everything that the script demanded and their production values are good. Also, they have maintained their track record of supporting a family friendly entertainer with good content. Mani Sharma's music is also good and he enhances each scene and emotion with his seniority.

Father and son sentiment works well as the story completes focuses on their bond. SPB Charan gave a very powerful performance reminding us of his father legendary singer SP Balasubramanyam from Premikudu. Charan being a good performer made it pleasant to watch a family film with such hearttouching emotions. Sai Harsha also did well in emotional and action scenes while he danced with grace. Even though he is a debutant he did showcase sincerity in different scenes.

But the movie is not devoid of its flaws. Dialogues could have been better as they feel routine and too casual. Some strong emotions could have been elevated by dialogues. Praveen's on-liners work when they are infused with the main emotion but falls flat at important places. Shakalaka Shankar and Bhadram don't really evoke any laughter. Love track is the weakest among all and it takes a lot of time in the first hour before the main plot takes over.

Kashika Kapoor delivers a power-packed performance, effortlessly embodying her character with depth and emotion. Her expressive eyes, natural screen presence, and dedication shine through every scene, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. A true rising star to watch! Overall, the movie has family friendly elements that work to an extent with some solid performances. It could have been better yet it is passable as a timepass flick.

In Conclusion:

Plot has potential and family emotions are heart touching.
