Amaravati likely to be notified as new district

The Andhra Pradesh state government is reportedly exercising to create a new district Amaravati as 14th district of the state. Initially, it is exercising to set up a separate registrar office either at Thullur or Mangalagiri. Currently, the registrar offices at Mangalagiri and Tadikonda are catering the needs of 29 villages in the surrounding areas. T

 

he revenue officials have proposed to merge them both with the proposed registrar office and set up it in Thullur. They also made another proposal to set up four sub-registrar offices in Thullur, Ananthavaram, Mandadam and Undavalli villages to cater the needs of all villages in the proposed new district. However, the state government may prefer to set up registrar office in Thullur because is keen to create a new district Amaravati. If, the government nods for setting up a registrar office in Thullur merging the other two offices at Mangalagiri and Tadikonda, then it would be a clear sign for formation of new district Amaravati.
