Vijay Sethupathi and Mani Ratnam unite for another film?

Mani Ratnam is one of the legendary directors of Indian Cinema. He delivered his biggest blockbusters in Ponniyin Selvan Part-1 and Part 2 before a huge debacle like Thug Life. Now, the director is looking to make a big comeback and he has been said to be in talks with several actors.

Currently, the Tamil Media reports state that he is going to join hands with Vijay Sethupathi. The director has met the actor and discussed a script idea with him, say reports. The actor has decided to push his other commitments for the legend and he is excited to play full-length lead in his direction, say reports.

Earlier, VJS acted in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam/ Nawab in Mani Ratnam's direction. The director is attempting a completely new genre from his previous films and it will be medium budget film without any big budget action set pieces, say reports.
