Sexy Actress Amrita Rao considers herself very lucky. Reason – She’s been approached by ‘O My Friend’ makers to essay the role of Siri. Dil Raju and Venu Sriram went to Mumbai to brief the script and she immediately gave the nod. But later, she walked away from the movie due to some differences in agreement. Later, the makers approached Nithya Menon who was also impressed with the script. But even she too left the project due to second thoughts. Finally, Siddharth has put pressure on the makers to rope his long time girl friend Shruti Hassan to play the role of ‘Siri’.

Now, contrary to the reports, O My Friend bombed at the box office and Amrita Rao and Nithya Menon feel that they’re very lucky not to be part of flop film. Remember, Amrita Rao has already faced bitter with her debut movie ‘Athidi’ besides Mahesh Babu and she’s glad that she escaped this time around! Even Nithya Menon already shared screen space with Siddharth in 180, which is also a dud, and she has every reason to be happy.
