The newly laid runway at the Visakhapatnam airport was inspected by officials from the DGCA recently. The runway and the night landing facilities have been found to be up to the mark and new services would be introduced shortly.
The national carrier Indian would start night flights from Visakhapatnam to New Delhi and Mumbai from the 1st of June. More flights would be introduced in a phased manner.
RTC Reservation through Net
The APSRTC is making arrangements to enable passengers to book tickets online. The new system will be put in place in a couple of months. The RTC is also giving unique four digit number for its services which would enable easy booking of services.
The new system once in place will enable to book reservation from anywhere to anywhere suing their debit or credit cards. This system will run along the lines of the present railway net booking which has proved to be hugely popular and convenient.
