Bharat and Genelia acted in the film together in ´Boys´ though not paired up. Later they paired up for the film ´Chennai Kadal´. The turned close to each other at the time of shooting.  In fact, Tamil folks are expecting them as the next pair from Tamil Cinema, to be found for wedlock.

In Telugu she acted opposite many young heroes. While her affair is serious with Bharat in TN, she passes time here by sending spoof messages to the trio Allu Arjun, Nitin and Vishnu. Recently, they came to know that she is making fun of them by sending such SMS individually without knowledge of the other one.
