UP CM sacks 8 ministers, strips portfolios of 9 others

UP CM Akhilesh sacks 8 Ministers and also withdrew portfolios of nine ministers during the process of reshuffle of his ministry on Thursday. According to Samajwadi Party senior leaders, cabinet reshuffle necessitated because of underperformance and some specific complaints received against them.
Shiv Kumar Beria, Bhagwat Sharan Gangwar, Ambika Chowdhary, Aridaman Singh, Alok Kumar Shakya, Yogesh Pratap Singh, Shivakant Ojha and Narad Rai are among the sacked.
The nine ministers who have been stripped of their portfolios include Raguhraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya, Avdhesh Prasad, and Ahmad Hasan.
Portfolios of ministers Paras Nath Yadav, Ram Govind Chowdhary, Durga Prasad Yadav, Brahma Shankar Tripathi, Iqbal Masood and Mehboob Ali were also stripped and handed over by the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
CM Akhilesh Yadav is planning to induct some senior and young leaders of the party into his cabinet. Governor Ram Naik will administer the oath-taking ceremony of the new ministers at Raj Bhavan on October 31 at 10.30 a.m.
