No witch hunting against rivals: Venkaiah Naidu

Ever since, Modi become Prime Minister those political leaders or their relatives facing allegations in corruption charges are having sleepless nights, because during his electioneering he promised the people that he will send them all to jail. Though, he not yet made any move in that direction, his first move to unearth black money constituting SIT under retired Supreme Court Judge, gives them all sleepless nights.

One such person facing allegations is none other than Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Wadra. He is allegedly indulged in several land scams. IAS officer Ashok Khemka, has been shunted out for 40 times from one place to other during his two years’ of service in Haryana government, for unearthing several land scams that have linked to Robert Wadra. So, Robert Wadra is also fears that Modi government will initiate actions against him, for he is hails to Modi’s rival camp.

However, urban development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, responding to a media question said that his government is not interested in witch hunt job against our political rivals. Let the law of the land take its own course in handling such corruption cases.”

His statement comes as a temporary relief to the persons facing allegations, but they too are aware that Modi government will certainly initiate actions one day or the other. Probably, Modi government initiates actions, when his rivals try to trouble his government crossing their limits. So, the honey moon period may end any time after 3 months, when Congress and all other rival parties start digging at Modi government.
