Senior Congress leader Paladugu died

Senior Congress leader and MLC Paladugu Venkat Rao (75) pass away on Monday early morning at Apollo Hospital. He was ailing with health problems since last few months. He was elected as MLA from Nuziveedu for twice and also worked as rural development minister in N. Janardhan Reddy cabinet in 1978.

Paladugu was born in Gogulampadu village in Musanuru Mandal of Krishna district. He joined youth Congress in 1968 and has served the party till his last breath. He was continuing as MLC from 2007 till his death. His body will be brought to party head office in Hyderabad for paying tributes by his party leaders and others. His funeral ceremony may be performed at Hyderabad today.
