AP NGOs to hold meeting at Vijayawada today

Media, which completely dedicates to APNGOs’ ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’ Hyderabad meeting from morning to evening, seems lost its interest in detailing today’s meeting to be held at Vijayawada. Probably, the sensational-news-hungry media might have given a wide coverage to Hyderabad meeting, because it was a showcasing of power by the Seemandhra people and considers it a confrontation between two regions. However, since there would be no such tense moments in today’s meeting, media limits its coverage time to meeting duration only.

Krishna district Samaikyandhra JAC is making elaborate arrangements for the meeting to be held at PWD grounds in Vijayawada at 4 pm Friday. They are expecting around 1 lakh people to the meeting. Several associations like Vijayawada Hoteliers’ Association, Vijayawada Chamber of Commerce, Lawyers’ Association and Indian Medical Association etc are extending their full support to this meeting.

The meeting will go on the same lines of its Hyderabad meeting, while taking review of the developments and situation between the two meetings. Apart from NGO leaders, experts will explain about the problems that may arise if the state is divided in various sectors like irrigation, agriculture, medical and education etc. The organizers of the meeting have announced that though they are keeping all political parties at same distance, if any political leader of any party wants to attend the meeting, they will be welcomed.
