Four JSP candidates drops from race

It seems stars are not favoring former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy ever since he left his post and party. Many leaders have deserted him before and after launching of his Jai Samaikyandhra party. After seeing the poor response to his road shows and meetings, he dropped from the elections race, instead fields his brother Santosh Reddy in his place from Pileru. It makes him a laughing stock in the state politics. His rivals described it as fleeing away from elections fearing defeat.

Since, he launched his political party solely banking upon Samaikyandhra sentiment, it prevent him and his party candidates talking about development activities or about constructing new capital. So, they are forced to assure the people that if they are elected will re-unite the state. But, Supreme Court has refused to consider Kiran and other’s plea for granting a stay on bifurcation. So, this would a jolt in the ribs for Kiran and his party candidates.

Even before the apex court takes-up the petitions, four candidates of JSP contesting from Macharla, Vinukonda, Narasaraopeta and Gurajala dropped from elections race and also joined TDP in the presence of Rayapati Sambhasiva rao, who is contesting from Narasaraopet to Lok Sabha. Perhaps, Kiran Kumar Reddy also may merge his JSP into Congress party, like Chiranjeevi did in the past. However, he can’t expect any favor because Congress is not going to win either in Andhra or at Centre, as asserted by Rahul, Priyanka and Jairam Ramesh.
